January 21, 2014    Volume 3 : Issue 1
Hello-I hope that 2015 is off to a great start for you and your family. It certainly has been nice to experience temperatures above zero, and even above freezing!

Often this time of year also brings scheduling changes for many middle and high school students. Be sure to check in to see how the new schedule and classes are going. Also, don’t wait too long to touch base with new teachers!

Many of you are busy gathering tax information for filing. Nearly all the time tutoring expenses and ACT prep classes are tax deductible, but check with your accountant to make sure. I don’t want the IRS coming after me!! Please let me know if you would like a summary of your tutoring expenses for 2014 and I will be happy to give them to you.

As always, your patronage is greatly appreciated. Have a great rest of the week!

All Star Achievement:

We had a FANTASTIC turnout for our Results Reveal. There were over 50 people who attended in both Forest Lake and Buffalo. Parents and students not only received the practice ACT results, but also useful college admissions and ACT information.

Upcoming EventsPlease remember that we are using a new accounting system (Freshbooks) in 2015, so your invoices will look a bit differently. There will be two payment options—online or by mailing a check. I WILL NO LONGER CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARDS ON THE 15TH. Payment is still due by the 15th though.  Please let me know if you have any questions after the invoices arrive at the end of the month.
Refer another family to us and get$25 off your next tutoring bill!
