Happy Spring! It is so nice to feel the warmth of the sun and hear the birds happily chirping.
For the first time this year, the state of Minnesota will be requiring all juniors to take the ACT test on April 28th during the school day. This is a great opportunity for students because unlike other standardized tests they take in school, this one can be used for college admissions!
However, I feel that students and parents need to realize that the results will not come for 3-8 weeks after they take the test. When taking it on a national test day, it takes only 2 weeks to get results. This is important to know because the registration deadline is May 8th (late registration with a fee is May 22nd) for the June test. If students plan on taking the June test, they should not wait for the results from April to come to do so. The results could come after the June 13th test day has passed.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions about the ACT test. I enjoy sharing the information with parents and students!
